Greater Greenwood residents enjoy top-quality medical care, thanks to the presence of several first-class hospitals.

Community Health Network (Community Hospital South, 150 beds) and Franciscan Alliance (Franciscan Health, 486 beds) have major hospital campuses in the Greenwood area. Both have experienced a dramatic growth in services over the last five years, and each recently completed multi-million dollar expansions and renovations, including new cancer and maternity centers, where private patient rooms are becoming standard. Expansions are expected to continue at both hospitals.

Johnson Memorial Health’s main hospital campus is in Franklin, and the hospital has just opened a health pavilion in Greenwood, further expanding access to convenient, quality care.

Intermediate care provider Kindred Hospital experienced such an increase in services at its Greenwood location that it constructed and moved into a new hospital in 2009 and continues to grow.
